The players auction for Vivo Indian Premier League 2017 is all set to happen on 20 February in Bangalore’s Ritz-Carlton. IPL-10 auction is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM as per Indian Standard Timings. Live streaming and online telecast will be aired live on www.iplt20.com.
All 8 participating franchise based teams in the competition will look to complete their roster for 10th Vivo IPLT20 beginning from April 5. A maximum of 27 players can be there in an IPL side including 9 overseas players. The Indian Premier League governing council has limited a maximum of 143.33 crore Rupees to each franchise to spend during the players auction.
As per current data, maximum of 76 can be purchased during the auction to complete the rosters. However 28 foreign players can be sold in the auction. More than 750 cricketers registered themselves to be a part of IPL auction. The deadline for players registration was 3rd February 2017.
