Mexico beat USA by 3-2 to enter in 2017 Confederations Cup

In 2015 CONCACAF Cup’s final match Mexico national soccer team has defeated United States to qualify for FIFA Confederations Cup 2017. Pasadena’s Rose Bowl stadium hosted this final match which was won by Mexico in extra time by 3-2.

It was 71st international match between USA and Mexico in their head to head history. Winning this CONCACAF Cup final El-tri has maintained their dominance in the rivalry. They registered 36th overall and 1st win in previous four years against USMNT.

It was a fabulous game of football whose result came in the final moments of the match. Javier Hernández nick name as Chicharito scored the first goal of play-off. He advanced Mexico in the 10th minute. It was Chicharito’s first ever goal against USA for Mexico. Things were going in the right way for visitors and they were leading in the match. but their lead couldn’t be more than 5 minutes as Cameron scored and made the scores to be 1-1.

In first 90 minutes of the match both teams were at 1-1 and fans were eagerly waiting for the winning goal. In 96th minute of match Mexican star Oribe Peralta gave hopes to his side and scored the leading goal in the match.

Paul Aguilar became hero of the match for Mexico as he scored the winning goal in 118th minute of the match. US player Bobby Wood gave relief to his side when he hit brilliant goal in 108th minute to equalize the scores 2-2.
