Mitchell Starc to miss opening matches of IPL 2015 for RCB

2015 cricket world cup player of the tournament, Mitchell Starc will not be available for the starting matches of IPL-8 beginning from 8 April. As per report published on cricket.com.au, Starc got some sort of knee injuries in the end phase of world cup and CA medical staff has suggested him to take rest of 2-3 weeks before getting into Indian Premier League.

He will have a short period off to rest and recover, before being reassessed by CA medical staff. We estimate his recovery time will be between two-three weeks.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased Mitchell Starc last year. In this year’s cricket world cup edition he has performed well and won world cup for his country. Australian bowler has been changed completely from past few months and will be key player for RCB in upcoming IPL 2015 tournament.
