Moeen Ali was the star of the match for England as he scored century to help team past 300 runs total. He made 128 runs in 107 balls and thus was declared Man of The Match. Ali also took 2 wickets in Scotland innings.

After losing toss England came to bat and got terrific start. Both openers Moeen Ali and Ian Bell added 100 runs partnership for the first time in 2015 world cup. England reached to 100 runs score in 17th over and both batsmen completed their fifties. Bell made 54 before getting out. ENG lost first wicket on 172 in 31st over and completed 200 runs in 34th over.
