At last England succeed in world cup, beat Scotland by 119 runs

England cricket team has registered their first victory of 2015 cricket world cup as they defeated Scotland in the 14th match of tournament by 119 runs. Moeen Ali was the star of the match for England as he scored century to help team past 300 runs total. He made 128 runs in 107 balls and thus was declared Man of The Match. Ali also took 2 wickets in Scotland innings.

After losing toss England came to bat and got terrific start. Both openers Moeen Ali and Ian Bell added 100 runs partnership for the first time in 2015 world cup. England reached to 100 runs score in 17th over and both batsmen completed their fifties. Bell made 54 before getting out. ENG lost first wicket on 172 in 31st over and completed 200 runs in 34th over.

Moeen Ali scored century in 91 balls including 9 fours and four sixes. Ali made 128 runs in 107 balls that helped English side to reach at 303 in 50 overs. Eoin Morgan also contributed handy 46 at the end of the innings.

In the chase of 304 target Scotland lost wickets at regular intervals and whole team got all out in 43 overs after scoring 184. Opener Kyle Coetzer made 71 for Scotland. Steven Finn took three wickets in Scotland innings whereas Anderson, Woakes and Ali shared 2-2 wickets each. Joe Root alo took one wicket.

Wining this match by 119 runs big margin England keeps their hopes alive to reach in the quarterfinals of 2015 cricket world cup. ENG now moved to the fifth position in points table of pool A.
