Bangladesh Cricket Board has unveiled the preliminary squad for the upcoming series against India next month. Rubel Hossain has been named in the announced 23-men squad as he has been recovering from left side strain that he got during the second test match against Pakistan.
As per published an article on tigercricket.com.bd, Rubel is recovering fast and will be available to play against India. In a statement it is said, “Nearly 3 weeks into the rehabilitation process, Rubel Hossain had been bowling at practice with a shorter run-up, and is gearing up for a return to resuming responsibilities as Bangladesh’s main strike bowler.”
Opening batsman Anamul Haque and fast bowler Shafiul Islam are also returning to the side. Anamul got injured during a cricket world cup 2015 match against Scotland and since then he has been recovering from shoulder injury and is now expected to be a part of national side against India.
Indian Cricket Team will play one test and 3 ODIs on Bangladesh’s tour. First test will be played from 10 to 14 June whereas One-Day Internationals are scheduled for 18, 21 and 24 June, 2015. Let’s have a look at the announced Bangladesh probable squad.
