South American Football Federation (CONMEBOL) has announced date and the venue for 2019 Copa America draw. Rio de Janerio to host CA2019 draw on 24 January from 20:30 Brasilia time. Tournament local organizing committee approved The Cidade das Artes cultural complex as the venue for 12-team draw to take place.
In a recent concluded CONMEBOL meeting at Santiago in Chile, 24th January was confirmed to organize the draw and reveal complete fixtures for 46th edition of Copa America. Apart from ten South American teams (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela), two guest teams Japan and Qatar to participate in the competition.
Morumbi Stadium (Sao Paulo), Maracana Stadium (Rio de Janeiro), Arena Gremio (Porto Alegre), Fonte Nova Arena (Salvador), Palmeiras Arena (Sao Paulo) and Mineirao Stadium (Belo Horizonte) are the confirmed venues to host the tournament.
Morumbi stadium to host the opening match of Copa America 2019 meanwhile final is set to stage at Maracana Stadium. Chile is the title defending champion team in the competition.
