Pakistan’s fast bowler Wahab Riaz has shown his love and dedication towards nation as he’s decided to play ICC world cup 2019 match against Bangladesh despite his finger is fractured and doctors have advised him not to play.
Doctors have asked Wahab to get surgery of the injured finger but he refused by saying he’s there to represent country and will not sit on the bench in a crunch match. SportsMirchi has learnt that his finger is not having a major fracture. It’s a minor one.
“I’m here to play and represent my nation and I can’t sit just because of injury. I can bear the pain and play with it just like the game against Afghanistan,” Wahab said.
Wahab Riaz has been crucial for Men In Green in the tournament and he’s taken 10 wickets till now and he’ll be key left-arm bowler for Pakistan against Bangladesh. It will be do or die match for 1992 champions as they have to beat Bangladesh by a huge margin to qualify for semifinals.
