Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has been picked in Indian 15-men squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2017 to replace right-handed Manish Pandey. Originally Manish was part of Men in Blue roster but he got injury during practice session in IPL 2017, hence he ruled out from the 8th edition of Cricket Champions Trophy.
Dinesh Karthik to return in national side in span of three years long time period as he played last international cricket match in 2014 against Afghanistan. Since then he’s been struggling to get place in the Indian team but some good performances in domestic season, Ranji Trophy and IPL performance helped him to get place in the Indian squad.
