Relentless England rugby team has defeated two-time title defending champion New Zealand in the first semifinal of 2019 world cup to through final. England registered 19-7 tries victory over All Blacks to qualify for RWC final for the fourth time in their history winning only edition in 2003.
From the beginning of the first semifinal, English team was on the roll and playing quite attacking rugby. If you can imagine, England didn’t conced single try in the first half and half-time, they were leading with 10-0 tries. The defense of English side was perfect just like their attack and All Blacks were helpless against some terrific game of display by 2003 champions.
“We’ve got a number of ways of playing. It’s brilliant to get there and we’ll enjoy this win first,” English skipper Owen Farrell said in press conference after claiming final spot.
“It’s pretty hard to put into words what it means,” All Blacks captain Kieran Read said after the semifinal lose.
England will play either Wales or South Africa in the final of 2019 RWC to be held on 2nd November.
