The eighth edition of ICC Champions Trophy is all set to kick off with opening game between hosts England and the surprise package of championship team Bangladesh on 1st June 2017. Preview
English side will look forward to take revenge from Bangladesh who knocked out England from 2015 world cup in the first round. Well home team has done pretty well after that poor performance in 2015 cricket world cup. Eoin Morgan has lead the side extremely well in limited overs. Team played the final of 2016 world twenty20 which they lost against West Indies.
Hosts will be relying on their batting line-up alot that includes destructive batsmen like Hales, Roy, Root, Billings and Root. Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali to play crucial role as all-rounders in the playing XI. English bowling will heavily be depending on fast bowlers like Woakes, Willey, Plunkett and Wood.
On the other side, Bangladesh seems to be dangerous side which can make surprise big teams in the competition. They’ll come with the confidence that they defeated England in ICC World Cup 2015 and can repeat the same in 2017 Champions Trophy.
