Lasith Malinga is fully fit to represent Sri Lanka in 2015 cricket world cup starting from 14 Feb. He played today’s warm-up game against South Africa and looked match fit as well. Sri-Lankan captain Angelo Mathews believes that Lasith Malinga will be a key player for team in cricket’s mega event. He also mentions that he is hundred percent fit and will make appear in all matches of ICC world cup.
Mathews said, “Lasith has the X-factor. He’s doing everything 100 per cent, he’ll be 100 per cent for the games.”
Lasith Malinga is also feeling good ahead of world cup and he is also keen to play in 2015 world cup. Malinga said he is ready to handle pressure in big games and desperate to perform well in the competition.
Malinga said, “I’m getting used to the pain because I really want to play in this World Cup. If there’s pain, it doesn’t matter. I want to play. … I’m not sure of the pace and how that’s going, but I’ve got good rhythm and a good run up.”

“Honestly, I don’t know what the pressure means. I’m used to all the pressure situations. I have a free mindset and I just want to do what I can do,” he added.
In today’s practice match Lasith Malinga took one wicket as well though SL lost the game.
