Hockey India League 2015 Players auction

The Players auction for Hero hockey India League 2015 is out. The brand new franchise Dabang Mumbai is mentored by Viren Rasquinha, the former Indian Captain had bought Matthew Swann and Tom Boon, the two most costliest players in the bid for forthcoming Hero Hockey India League 2015. This is an attempt to counter others with players like Moritz Fürste, Sardar Singh, Jamie Dwyer, etc.

  2. Uttar Pradesh Wizards
  3. Kalinga Lancers

  5. Dabang Mumbai
  6. Ranchi Rays

The Closed Bid for 2014 Hero HIL Players for 2015 edition experienced some remarkable bidding for a totality of 149 players along with the 6 franchises including 54 foreign and 95 domestic players.

Tom Boon, the Belgium striker was ultimately bagged by Dabang Mumbai at whopping USD 103000. Trent Mitton, the Australian Striker was picked by Ranchi Rays for USD 67000. Tom Boon secured USD 103000 for tournament of around 4 weeks. So the hockey players are now the same as the European Football Players with Tom Boon earning around USD 20000 weekly for the forthcoming Hero Hockey India League edition.

Tom Boon was the highest bid player for Hockey India League 2015 picked by Dabang Mumbai for three seasons.
