2015 Cricket World Cup is just one week away from now and we have got warm-up matches for teams to get practice a bit before main tournament begins from 14 Feb. In the first practice match of 2015 world cup hosts Australia to take on India at Adelaide Oval tomorrow. Both sides will be desperate to get winning momentum. The match is scheduled to start at 14:00 local time.
Both teams will be desperate to get victory in this match, especially winless Indian side on Australian tour. Team India haven’t won single match in Australia since they have been playing test series and tri-series. India needs to get one big win ahead of world cup to gain their confidence ahead of their title defending campaign.
If you are thinking that it’s only a practice game then you are wrong. It is not less than an international game as tickets for this warm-up match have been sold already. So it will be a pack house at the Adelaide Oval on 8 February.
For Australian team prospective it will be interesting to see how Michael Clarke plays in this warm-up. Whether he’ll play or not, it will be exciting to watch though he has played 2 domestic practice matches in past one week and he is keen to play for Australia in 2015 world cup.
Indian team will be looking to find their rhythm ahead of main event as they are the defending champions in tournament. Shikhar Dhawan will be having great opportunity tomorrow to get form back. Injured players Rohit, Bhuvneshwar, Ishant and Jadeja will have to prove their fitness in tomorrow’s game. Virat Kohli has to get in touch once again before world cup as he scored centuries in test-series but completely failed in tri-series.
