India, Australia, England, New Zealand: who win ICC world cup 2019

They currently sit second in the table with 11 points from their six fixtures to date. They have been the most impressive side in the competition so far and are going to take a lot of beating as they face off against England next.

They are also coming off the back of the recent 125 run victory over the West Indians. Another key victory includes the 11 run success over Afghanistan. India are two time winners of the World cup with the last coming back in 2011.

The hosts England started the tournament as the favourites but now have it all to do following three defeats. They currently sit fourth in the table with eight points accumulated from seven fixtures. They have lost their last two games, firstly against Australia and prior to this they were beaten 20 runs by Sri Lanka. England had previously started the competition strong with impressive victories, such as the 104 run victory over South Africa and the eight wicket victory over the West Indies.

England are looking for their first World Cup title and last reached the final back in 1992. The final key contender in the competition is New Zealand. They can be supported at 6/1 at present and currently sit third in the table. They have picked up 11 points from their opening seven fixtures and next face off against Australia. New Zealand are coming off the back of a recent six wicket defeat to Pakistan, in what was a very close match up. They have had a number of impressive victories including the four wicket success over South Africa. New Zealand are another side looking for their first World Cup title.
