Indian Soccer Team head coach Stephen Constantine has declared the preliminary roster for the joint qualification of 2018 FIFA World Cup, starting from 11th June, 2015. The final 23 member squad will be short down in future for the two games against Oman and Guam.

India is placed in Group D of AFC second round qualifier along with Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Guam. The opening match for India is against Oman which will take place on 11 June at Bengaluru.

India’s Preliminary 26-man squad

Goalkeepers: Subrata Paul, Lishram Prem Kumar Singh, Sanjiban Ghosh, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

Defenders: Rino Anto, Lalchhuanmawia, Reagan Singh, Dhanachandra Singh, Arnab Mondal, Gurwinder Singh, Sandesh Jhingan, Augustin Fernandes.

Midfielders: Cavin Lobo, Md. Rafique, Eugenson Lyngdoh, C K Vineeth, Jackichand Singh, Saityasen Singh, Sehnaj Singh, Dhanapal Ganesh, Mandar Rao Dessai, Francis Fernandes.

Forwards: Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Holicharan Narzary, Jeje Lalpekhlua.
