IPL 2020: RCB Thrashed KKR by 8 wickets to get 2nd spot in points table

Royal Challengers Bangalore has beaten Kolkata Knight Riders comprehensively in the 39th match of Dream11 IPL 2020 played at Abu Dhabi. RCB won the match by 8 wickets with 39 balls remaining in the game.

Kolkata Knight Riders had only one good thing throughout the match as they won toss and chose to bat first. On this Abu Dhabi pitch, it was difficult for batsman to time the ball as ball wasn’t coming with the pace onto the bat.

Mohammad Siraj was the star of the match for RCB as he dismissed two wickets in his first over. Eventually he bowled two maiden overs and took 3 wickets. He secured magical bowling figures of 3 wickets in 4 overs by spending just 8 runs.

RCB bowlers restricted KKR batting to just 84 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. In chase of 85 runs, Royal Challengers lost two wickets in form of both the openers Paddikal and Finch. Mohammad Siraj was awarded man of the match.

With this victory, now RCB goes to second place in the points table with 14 points from 7 wins in played 10 matches. Playoff looks now to be confirmed for Bangalore in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League.
