In an exciting final thriller Cote D’Ivoire football team has beaten Ghana in Orange Africa cup of Nations 2015 to claim crown after 23 years. Ivory Coast goalkeeper Boubacar Barry was star for team in the match as he stopped the final penalty and also scored his own goal in the penalties. Cote d’Ivoire won AFCON 2015 final by 9-8 in penalties.
Both sides showed good football skills in the final played at Estadio de Bata. Ghana and Ivory Coast couldn’t score the goals in full time with following extra time. Strikers from both countries were trying hard to hit the goal and beating defenders of opponent’s team but they failed to do it.
Ivory Coast’s Boubacar was at his best in the final moments and he holds his nerve. He saved brilliant goal of Ghana’s Brimah Razak in the last to make his team win Africa cup of nations title after 1992. About 38,000 fans witnessed Cote D’Ivoire win.
