Mumbai Indians have appointed New Zealand’s former fast bowler Shane Bond as the bowling coach for upcoming eighth edition of Indian Premier League. He will accompany Ricky Ponting (Head Coach), Jonty Rhodes (Fielding Coach) and Robin Singh (Batting Coach) in Mumbai Indians staff for IPL 2015 which is scheduled to begin on 8 April.
Ricky Ponting was appointed MI’s head coach in December month. Shane Bond is not a new comer in Indian Premier League as he played 2010 tournament for Kolkata Knight Riders.

Currently Bond is associated with national side New Zealand as bowling coach but his contract is finishing after world cup. Hence he has decided to come India in April and join Mumbai Indians coaching staff as bowling coach.
