Pakistan’s record at ICC World Cup against India is very disappointed as Men In Green have never defeated neighbors in played 6 world cup matches. Despite Pak’s poor run in cwc versus India, Moin believes that Sarfaraz’s team can overcome India fear as they defeated India to win 2017 champions trophy.

“This present team is very capable of recording a first win over India in a World Cup because there is talent, there is depth and variety and Sarfaraz Ahmed has now gelled the squad well. I say this because our boys beat them (India) in the Champions Trophy two years back and I just feel that in English conditions in June we have better bowlers,” Moin said.

Bowlers do well in English conditions for Pakistan and that inspires legendary cricketer to favor country. Pitches and weather conditions really suit Pakistani bowlers and team’s unpredictability can be a blessing and disguise.

However Pakistan lost two Asia Cup 2018 matches against India after Champions Trophy final triumph. Former Pakistan captain and coach also predicts favorites to win 2019 world cup as he thinks one of India and England can clinch title.

“This should be a very interesting World Cup and I am backing Pakistan to beat India. Our boys are in good spirits and it is good they will go into the competition after having played ODI matches against South Africa, Australia and England. Pakistan has been one team which has done well in England in the last many years and in May-June the weather can be unpredictable and there is moisture in the pitches,” Moin quoted.

Old Trafford in Manchester to host India vs Pakistan 2019 cricket world cup match on 16 June. As per India time match will kick off at 3:00 PM IST meanwhile Pakistan based fans can tune tv channels from 2:30 PM.
