Pakistan Super League 2017 Prize Money

Pakistan Super League is one of the most popular twenty20 cricket leagues around the world and its first edition was played in 2016. Inaugural edition of PSLT20 was won by Islamabad United $500,000. Runner-up Quetta Gladiators made $200,000. A total prize money pool for 2016 Pakistan Super League was $1 Million.

Pakistan Super League Prize Money

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) governing councils take decisions on the award money for players and teams. First edition of tournament was hit for the league and several leading t20 international cricketers like Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Shane Watson and more played in it. Man of the match and other reward holders made $300,000 as prize money from the league.

Pakistan Super League 2017 Prize

There is an increase in the prize money pool for second Pakistan Super League season. Winner of 2017 PSLT20 is projected to bag $700,000 meanwhile runner-up will bag $350,000. Man of the match and other event award winners prize money is expected to be $400,000.

The final of 2017 HBL Pakistan Super League is scheduled to be held in Lahore. Hence it will be great exposure for Pakistan cricket and will bring more crowd to the stadium. This will also effect the viewership of the tournament so as in the business too.
