Pallekele to host 3rd test in Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka 2015

Sri Lanka Cricket Board has rescheduled the third test of Pakistan’s tour to Sri Lanka. Pallekele will now be hosting 3rd test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan from 3 to 7 July, 2015. Originally R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo was scheduled to host this test but due to some reasons third test is shifted to Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan will tour to Sri Lanka in June and July to play 3 test matches, 5 ODIs and 2 Twenty20 matches series. Tour will begin with a three days practice match schedule to begin on 11 June. Galle International Stadium and P Sara Oval will host first two tests of the series.

Five One-Day International matches series will begin on 11 July with first ODI match to be played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. There is reserve day already for each ODI match in case if rain interrupts as it’s a rainy weather in June-July month at Sri Lanka.

Two T20I matches are scheduled for R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and will be played on 30 July and 1 August.
