The 22nd edition of football world cup is scheduled for Qatar in 2022 and supreme committee members and workers are working hard day-night to bring a better tournament than ever. Tournament will be played in winter from 21 Nov to 18 Dec.
Aisha Al Jehani, member of host country operations team has given an interview in which she described how football can build bridges in 2022 when world cup takes place.
Q. What does your normal day at work involve?
Ans. I support the team which is responsible for the planning and integration of host country operations- which means preparing every sector of Qatar for the world cup.
Q. What’s the best thing about working for the SC?
Ans. Being part of the great journey to deliver the world cup in Qatar.
Q. What’s your favorite Qatar 2022 Stadium?
Ans. Lusail Stadium – I like the contrast of the using centuries-old art pieces from across the Middle east in a futuristic design.
Q. What are you looking forward to the most in 2022?
Ans. Seeing football build bridges between cultures and witnessing the legacy this tournament will leave for the people of Qatar.
Three stadiums have been completed till now and 5 remaining fifa world cup 2022 venues will be completed by 2021.
