Rafael Nadal beat Djokovic to win 13th French Open title

Spanish tennis champion Rafael Nadal has claimed his 13th Roland Garros title defeating Novak Djokovic in the final of 2020 French Open. Nadal won men’s title in straight sets as beat Serbia’s Djokovic by 6-0, 6-2, 7-5. Now Rafa has 20 grand slams in his bag.

Roger Federer and Nadal, both now have 20 grand slam titles each meanwhile Djokovic stands at 17th till now.

“A very tough year but a win here means everything to me. It’s not the moment, honestly not for me, I don’t think today being the 20th equaling Roger on this great number,” champion Nadal said after the final.

This was Nadal’s successive fourth French Open crown as no other tennis player won championship since 2017. One more record in this glorious victory for Rafael Nadal as it was his 100th victory at French Open.

Once again it is proved that Nadal is the king of clay and no other player can match him on the pitch. Djokovic is the number one ATP ranking tennis player and top seed in men’s singles. But Nadal doesn’t care about it as he is champion player of modern era especially on clay court.
