South Africa cricket Team played some great cricket tonight to register their berth in 2015 ICC world cup semi-final. Proteas defeated Sri lanka by 9 wickets with 192 balls remaining to qualify for semifinal match which is scheduled to play on 24 March. SA spinner Imran Tahir was awarded player of the match for his 4 wickets in Sri-Lankan innings.
This was the first quarter-final of world cup 2015 played at Sydney Cricket Ground. Everyone was expecting a good match between two inform teams in cricket’s mega event this year. Out of form Proteas opener Quinton de Kock got form in this small run chase and he made unbeaten 78 in 57 balls. Winning this quarter-final South Africa has qualified for the semi-final and they’ll face either New Zealand or West Indies.
