The T20 bandwagon has shifted to the Caribbean islands and for the next one month the West Indian flamboyance mixed with that of the international superstars will keep cricket fans hooked to the extravaganza. As it is early days in the tournament, teams will be looking to begin their campaign on a winning note and then carry the momentum forward.
Match Info
The 4th game of Hero CPL T20 will see St Lucia Zouks take on the new team in the league, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at Beausejor Stadium on Wednesday, 24th June in a day night encounter. The game is slated for a 6 pm local time start. The pitch at the Beausejor Stadium has traditionally assisted the spinners but the previous match played was a high scoring game and one can expect another such run fest provided the rain doesn’t play spoilsport yet again.
Preview
St. Lucia Zouks posted a huge 179 for 6 in their opening match against Trinidad & Tobago thanks to some brilliant batting by their top order. Andre Fletcher and England discard Kevin Pietersen made useful contributions and their 70-run stand was key to Zouks posting the total.
They were ably supported by Henry Davids who played a cameo to propel them to 179. Zouks have a formidable pace attack trio of Shannon Gabriel, Kemar Roach and Fidel Edwards and also have an added dimension in their attack with inclusion of leggie Eddie Leie. The attack was not put to test in the rain hit game but they will have their task cut out against formidable Patriots batting having the likes of Martin Guptill, Marlon Samuels and Shahid Afridi.
St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots will be looking to make their mark in their debut match in the tournament and a lot will rest upon the shoulders of their bowlers Sohail Tanvir and Sheldon Cottrell in an otherwise inexperienced bowling line up. The pacers would be hoping to get able support from Shahid Afridi whose leg spin will be all the more crucial for the new boys throughout the tournament.
Expected Line Up

Predictions
As the teams would be clashing for the first time and the tournament being still in its first week there are certainly no favorites to choose in this encounter. It’ll be an even contest between both sides and hopefully we’ll have a cracker of a match on our hands.
St Lucia Zouks will be favorites to win and as per Sports Mirchi predictions Zouks have got 65 percent winning chances over St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
