Trend Micro Inc. has been associated with one of the biggest women’s football event this year in Canada as they are the National Supporter of FIFA women’s world cup Canada. Bell Canada and Labatt Breweries are the other National Supporters of tournament. FIFA marketing director Thierry Weil was glad to announce the association with Canada’s security software inc.
Weil said, “We are very happy to welcome Trend Micro as a National Supporter of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 and are looking forward to collaborating with them to drive excitement around the tournament. National Supporters are crucial to the success of our events and I am sure Trend Micro will play a valuable role in what is set to be a fantastic month of football in Canada.”
Trend Micro CEO Eva Chen also spoke on this occasion and told that the company and he himself are delighted to be national supporter and are desperate to improve women’s game. He said, “Trend Micro’s corporate culture aligns with the official slogan of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 – ‘To a greater goal’.”

The 7th edition of women’s football world cup will be played from 6 June to 5 July.
