West Indies to host Australia, South Africa in 2016 tri-series

Cricket world champions Australia will be participating in a Tri nation One Day series next year in West Indies. The third team in the series will be South Africa. Series is scheduled to play in June 2016 between 6 and 26. West Indies, South Africa and Australia cricket teams will play a total of 10 matches in the tri-series including final.

West Indies Cricket Board manager for cricket operations Mr Roland Holder said, “This tournament promises to be very exciting with two of the world’s top teams coming to the Caribbean. It will provide a golden opportunity for our team to test themselves against two of the best sides in the world in the ODI format.”

Guyana, Barbados and St. Kitts will be hosting the matches. Round Robin will be the format used in the series and starting matches are scheduled to play in Guyana National Stadium.
