Last ODI match playing Australian Captain Michael Clarke made 74 runs in 72 balls  in the run chase of 184 target. Steve Smith score the winning runs for Aussies and he remained unbeaten on 52. More than 93,000 cricket fans enjoyed this Australian victory at MCG, Melbourne.

Australia chased this 184 runs target in 32nd over of their innings to become world champions 5th time. Previous Aussies have won world cups in 1987, 1999, 2003 and 2007.

Blackcaps played good cricket throughout the competition and they didn’t loss any game except final. Captain McCullum also mentioned this in final match presentation. He said, “It’s been one hell of a ride. We played outstanding cricket, we ran into an outstanding Australian side.”
