Pakistan are out from the race of cricket world cup 2019 semi-finals. The credit goes to Bangladesh who didn’t allow Men In Green to score too many runs on the board thought Pak made 315 in 50 overs in their last league match of tournament. Ahead of the Pakistan vs Bangladesh clash, Pakistan need a big victory to surpass New Zealand in prospects of Net Run Rate (NRR).

Men In Green must beat Bangladesh at least by 300+ runs to better their NRR from Blackcaps. But unfortunately it couldn’t happen as when Pak scored 315, they required Bangladesh to restrict before 7 runs which was impossible and as Bangladeshi batsmen hit 8th run of the innings, 1992 world cricket champions eliminated from competition.

Pak chose to bat first after winning the toss and the uphill task was to score at least 450 runs to give their bowlers something to do with. But excellent bowling performance from Bangla tigers didn’t let that happened. However Pakistan won the match by 94 runs but failed to go through knockout stage of 2019 cricket world cup.

With the Pakistan’s exclusion from world cup, tournament has got it’s four semi-final teams as Australia, India, England and New Zealand have qualified for the final-4.
