The South American football governing body CONMEBOL has announced the Brazil will be hosting the 47th edition of Copa America championship after Argentina and Colombia were snubbed as the hosts. CONMEBOL announced the tournament will go on the dates as scheduled and fixtures and venues will be announced in short time. A total of 10 teams will be contesting the event as Australia and Qatar quit themselves from the participation amid World Cup Qualifiers 2022.
