BCCI have postponed Vivo IPL 2020 season till further notice due to COVID-19 crisis in the country. Indian government have increased the lockdown period from 14th April to 3rd May. Hence Indian Premier League’s 13th edition can’t be hosted until May 3 and at least two weeks would be required to make things happen.

In this lot of speculation, Sri Lanka cricket board has shown interest to organize cash-rich t20 league if Indian board wants. “If we get the go ahead from them to this proposal, we are ready to provide all the facilities necessary under the supervision of Sri Lankan health authorities.”
