Pakistan Cricket Board have announced the Tests, ODI, T20 squads for the forthcoming series against England cricket team in UAE beginning from 13th October, 2015. Shahid Afridi to lead T20I squad whereas Azhar Ali will be captaining One-Day team. Experienced  Misbah-Ul-Haq will be leading test team. T20 and ODI squads are announced for Zimbabwe tour too.

Peshawar born fast bowler Imran Khan has been included in the national side for the the first time along with Amir Yamin in T20I. Younus Khan is dropped from the ODI squad after his poor batting performance in 2015 cricket world cup played in Australia/New Zealand. PCB selector has mentioned that selectors have been looking to give chances to new players and talent to get more exposure in the world cricket.

Some budding youngsters have been recommended to be included in the Pakistan camp for the Zimbabwe tour to be held from the 17th till the 20th of September 2015 in Lahore.”

“In the light of Misbah-ul-Haq’s recommendations, we have kept the options open for the 16th player in the Test squad against England, picking two left-arm spin bowlers namely Zafar Gohar and Mohammad Asghar for the brace of practice games against England prior to the Test matches in the UAE. Whoever amongst the two performs well would be added to the Test squad,” he added.
