Sardar Singh wants to make hockey more enjoyable in 2015

Indian hockey team captain Sardar Singh has promised that he’ll improve team’s performance in 2015 so that more people can enjoy the national game. He wants people to enjoy and cheer more in new year to the Indian hockey.

Sardar Singh looking to make hockey more enjoyable 2015

“My resolution (for 2015) is to maintain and improve my skills to help me be more beneficial to my teammates on the field,” the talismanic centre-half said, according to an International Hockey Federation (FIH) release.

Under Sardar Singh captaincy India won gold medal in Asian games and silver medal in Commonwealth games 2014. He said, “I want to make hockey, and Indian team’s performance in particular, even more enjoyable to watch.”

Sardar Singh also leads Delhi Waveriders in hockey India League and he’ll be leading team again in 2015 to defend title.
