Preview

West Indies are having a terrific world t20 campaign and they have beaten top teams like South Africa, England, Sri Lanka and India in the tournament so far to be in the final. Although the Caribbean team lost their last group game against Afghanistan but the way team recovered from that upset and came back in the semi-final versus India, it was awesome.

West Indies vs England World T20 2016 Final Preview.

The main strength for Windies side is that they are not depending only on Chris Gayle. In the semi-final match against India, Chris Gayle failed to score runs and returned to pavilion in the second over of the innings while chasing big target of 193 in a pressure situation at Wankhede. But the way Johnson Charles and Lendl Simmons took responsibility and then Andre Russell played match winning knock in the end, it clearly shows WI can be very dangerous on Sunday against England.

West Indies’s record against England in ICC World T20 championship shows that Darren Sammy & Company will definitely be hot favorite to win. Both sides have met 4 times in the history of tournament and English team is still looking to register their first victory against West Indies. The recent meeting was in the group match of this championship in which West Indies chased 183 runs target with the help of Gayle’s century.

This is the perfect time for England to beat West Indies in this prestigious world t20 event. England beat New Zealand team in the semi-final who were unbeaten in the competition till group stage. The key thing happening with England is that their batsmen are scoring runs at good pace and putting pressure on opposition bowling. Jason Roy, Joe Root and Jos Buttler are the key batsmen in English side, especially Root who is the backbone of England batting.

It will be a big contest between two world champions and will be interesting to see who handles pressure better and become champion once again.
