The fifth edition of cricket world cup was played from 22 February to 25 March 1992 in Australia and New Zealand. Pakistan Cricket Team won 1992 ICC world cup by defeating England in the final match held at Melbourne Cricket Ground. 9 countries took participation in 5th cricket world cup with South Africa staging for the first time in tournament.
