Pakistan crunched UAE by 129 runs in 2015 world cup at Napier

Pakistan cricket team has registered their 2nd win in ICC world cup 2015 by defeating UAE in the 25th match of tournament played at Napier. Pakistan won by 129 runs big margin to get themselves hope of reaching in the quarterfinals. After this big win, Pakistan have reached to the fourth spot in the points table and now they can hope to qualify in the knockout stage.

The good news apart from winning the match for Pakistan is their top order batsmen have come into the form and they scored good runs. Opener Ahmed Shehzad scored brilliant 93 runs whereas Haris Sohail made 70. In the middle overs of innings Sohaib Maqsood and Misbah-ul-haq also contributed handy runs as Maqsood made 45 whereas Captain Misbah played quick firing innings of 65 in 49 balls.

After completion of 50 overs Pakistan put a total of 339 runs on the score board for the loss of  wickets. United Arab Emirates bowler Manjula Guruge took 4 wickets in Pakistan inning.

In the chase of 340 target UAE managed to score 210 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. But the good thing is they played 50 overs of their innings. Shaiman Anwar was the top scorer for United Arab Emirates as he made 62 in 88 balls. Khurram Khan also scored 43 whereas Amjad Javed managed to contribute 40 runs in UAE innings. Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz and Shahid Afridi took 2-2 wickets each.
