Bangladesh vs Australia world cup match abandoned due to rain

The 11th match of 2015 world cup between Australia and Bangladesh has been abandoned due to heavy rain in Brisbane. At 16:37 local time, ICC officials announced match will not be played now due to bad weather forecast and both Australia and Bangladesh will share 1-1 point each in world cup points table 2015.

The match was scheduled to begin at 13:30 as per local watch but it couldn’t happen as there was a dark cloudy sky and it’s been raining all the time. It was previously predicted that match would not be played as the Australian state is facing cyclone disaster these days and it will be difficult to hold a match today at The Gabba.

Bangladesh will now play their next match of world cup against Sri Lanka on 26 February at MCG whereas Australia will be taking on New Zealand on 28 February at Auckland.
