Blackcaps beat Afghanistan comfortably by 6 wickets at Napier

New Zealand has beaten Afghanistan in the 31st game of ICC cricket world cup 2015 today at Napier. It was an easy win for strong Kiwi team and winning this game they have confirmed that they will not take any game lightly whether opponent is Australia or Afghanistan. Blackcaps registered 6 wickets win over Afghani side. Daniel Vettori was awarded player of the match for his 4 wickets.

New Zealand beat Afghanistan by 4 wickets in 2015 world cup.

Winning toss Afghanistan chose to bat and they only managed to score just 186 runs in 47.4 overs before whole team was dismissed. Samiullah Shenwari and Najibullah Zadran scored fifties in Afghanistan innings. Daniel Vettori was the star for New Zealand as he took four wickets. Trent Boult dismissed three Afghani batsmen whereas all-rounder Corey Anderson also took 2 wickets.

Openers Martin Guptil and captain Brendon McCullum had partnership of 53 runs for first wicket before Mohammad Nabi dismissed McCullum on 42. After this Williamson and Guptil built partnership of 58 runs. Gutil made 57 before getting run-out. With 83 balls remaining , New Zealand win the match by 4 wickets.
