The 6th edition of Women’s FIFA World Cup was held in Germany from 26 June to 17 July 2011. 16 teams took participation in the tournament and Japan beat all the teams to lift FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time in the history. Teams were divided into four groups and each group had four teams.
