Germany footballers covered their mouths for the team photo before the start of the match in protest against FIFA’s decision to ban rainbow-themed armbands. Eventually German team was leading with one goal till the first half and in second half, Blue Samurai changed the game and made strong comeback to win the game.

Japan got equalizer in the 75th minute of match when Ritsu Doan scored the goal. Blue Samurai team didn’t get too much time to get the second and winning goal of the match as it came in the 83rd minute. Takuma Asano scored the 2nd goal for Japan.

Germany failed to advance in 2018 Russia world cup as well where they eliminated from group stage. Now if they want to see themselves playing in knockouts, they need to win against Spain and Costa Rica in Group E matches and might be depending on other results as well.
