Indian cricket team will be facing Ireland in the pool B game on 10 March at Hamilton in New Zealand. This is the first occasion in 11th cricket world cup when team India is going to play a game in New Zealand. India has won all four matches of tournament played so far and will be looking to win this one as well.

This is going to be crucial match for Ireland in prospects of qualifying in the quarterfinals as they have to win this match to get themselves in the knockout stage. Ireland lost only one game till now in played four matches of the competition and they have to win this match anyhow. If they can’t succeed then they’ll have only match left in the group stage which is against Pakistan on 15th March.

Ireland will have to make sure they can stop strong batting line-up of Indian team to score the runs. Ireland bowling hasn’t been so good but they have to bowl really well to Indian batsmen. India is in tremendous form and they have beaten teams like West Indies, Pakistan and South Africa to show that they are ready to defend their world cup crown.

Irish team will be depending on their key players in playing 11 like Paul Stirling, Kevin O’Brien, Nail O’Brien, Ed Joyce and William Porterfield. India have already qualified for the quarterfinals and they will be looking to make some changes in the playing XI against Ireland. As per our belief Stuart Binny may get a chance to play in New Zealand conditions.

Team India will be depending on Kohli, Rohit, Dhawan and Raina. Captain Indian batting hasn’t been so much effective in the tournament that they known for. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be looking to go on Irish bowlers as they haven’t played aggressive knock in 2015 world cup. They must be eager to get back in their full form ahead of knockout stage.
