Luzhniki Stadium to host Final of 2018 FIFA world cup

Federation International de Football Association has confirmed that Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium will be hosting 2018 Russia world Cup’s opening and final matches on 14 June and 15 July respectively. This venue will also host the second semi-final of tournament on 11 July, 2018.

FIFA has also awarded First semi-final and third place of 2018 Football world cup to Zenit Arena, Saint Petersburg.

The 1st semifinal will be played on 10 July whereas third place game is scheduled for 14 July. 2017 Confederations Cup Russia venues are also confirmed and Saint Petersburg to host inaugural and final matches of tournament on 17 June and 2 July, 2017 respectively.

First semifinal of FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 will be played on 28 June at Kazan whereas Sochi to host second semi-final on 29 June. Spartak Stadium in Moscow is scheduled to host 3rd place match of the competition.
