Rohit Sharma has been recalled in the Indian test squad for 4-test series in Australia starting from 6th December 2018. Apart from Rohit, opener Murali Vijay and wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel are also included in the India’s squad for Australia tour of four tests.

On Rohit’s inclusion, BCCI team selection chief MSK Prasad said that Australian pitches would favor Rohit’s playing style and he could be a good asset to batting line-up in Australia. “we felt that Rohit’s nature of cricket – he’s a very good backfoot player, and we felt that his game is much suited to play in Australia,” Prasad said during press conference.

However before the start of test matches, India to play three twenty20s against Aussies tour starting from 21 November.
