3 Goals in 9 minutes as Spain beat Sweden 2-1 to reach FIFA Women’s World Cup final
Spain women’s have beaten Sweden in the first semifinal of 2023 FIFA World Cup to reach their maiden final of tournament’s history. Olga Carmona scored the winning goal for Spanish side as both team managed to hit scores in last 9 minutes of the game.
Salma Paralluelo was the star again for team Spain as she hit the goal for the first time in the knockout clash from both the teams in the 81st minute. Both teams were goal less in the first half. Salma’s goal guide Spain to take advantage in the match just before 10 minutes of the final whistle.
However then Spain’s lead didn’t long last for other 7 minutes as Sweden’s Rebecka Blomqvist scored the goal line to one all and game was heading towards the extra time. But hold on as Olga had other plans and she scored the winning goal for Spain to take her team into the first ever FIFA Women’s World Cup final.
