Hazlewood said McCullum is a dangerous player ahead Aus-NZ Clash

Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood accepts that Blackcaps opening batsman Brandon McCullum is a dangerous player and we are looking forward to restrict him in Saturday’s clash. Josh also mentioned that McCullum will be key player for Kiwi team in the upcoming big match between Australia and New Zealand at Auckland.

Hazlewood said McCullum is a dangerous player ahead Aus-NZ Clash.

He also thinks that bowling against David Warner and Aaron Finch will help Australia to survive against McCullum as both Warner and Finch as same kind of batsmen to Brendon.

Hazlewood said, “We’ve seen what he can do in the previous games. He’s a key for them and we’ll be looking to minimise his damage. He’s obviously a dangerous player … but bowling to ‘Finchy’ and Warner, I think there’s no better practice than bowling to those two.”

“They’re pretty similar players to McCullum. We’ve had plenty of practice bowling to our guys, so hopefully we’re ready. A lot of the senior guys have played with him and against him (McCullum). We’ll have our team meetings and talk about each and every player from their side.”

Josh Hazlewood also believes that both Australia and New Zealand are strong teams in 2015 world cup and they have got good all-rounders. He is hoping to have a great match.

“It’s pretty good, we’ve got a lot of competition for spots with the quicks and allrounders. It’s obviously a pretty big game, hopefully I’ll get the nod. Both teams are flying at the moment, so it’s going to be a great contest,” he added.
