Sabbir scores ton for BCB XI as Pakistan lost their tour match

Pakistan Cricket Team have lost tour match against Bangladesh Cricket Board XI as Sabbir Rahman’s 123 runs inning helped BCB 11 to chase 269 runs target. This is an expected result for PAK team as well as for Pakistani cricket supporters. BCB XI beat Pakistanis by 1 wicket with 7 balls remaining.

Pakistanis won toss and chose to bat first in this warm up game played at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah. Pak got good start as openers Azhar Ali and Mohammad Hafeez took team’s total past 50. Pakistanis lost first wicket on 66 runs in the 15th over. Md. Hafeez built valuable partnership with Haris Sohail as well. He was dismissed on 85 runs score when team’s total was 145 for 3 in 28th over.

Fawad Alam managed to score quick runs with middle order and lower order batsmen but couldn’t take Pakistanis to a big total. Alam made 67 in 58 balls that guide PAK to post 268 runs in the 50 overs after losing 9 wickets. Shuvagata Hom took 3 wickets for Bangaldesh Cricket Board XI in this tour match.

In the chase of 269 target, BCB 11 lost wickets on regular intervals and they lost 4 wickets on the score of just 81. Sabbir Rahman was batting exceptionally well at one end and he built 124 runs partnership with Imrul Kayes for 5th wicket. Junaid Khan dismissed Rahman when he was batting on 123. Sabbir Rahman hit 8 sixes and 7 boundaries in his 123 runs inning in 99 balls.

At the end of BCB XI innings, Sohag Gazi made match winning 36 in 28 balls. Bangladesh Cricket Board XI registered 1 wicket marginal victory. Junaid Khan took 4 wickets for Pakistanis in this match.
