HBL Pakistan Super League 2016

Pakistan Super League 2016 will be the first edition of Pakistan Super League which is scheduled to take place in United Arab Emirates. Due to sponsorship reasons it will be known as HBL PSL 2016. Earlier it was declared that tournament will be held in Qatar but PCB shifted it to UAE and will be played from 4 to 23 February in Sharjah and Dubai.

Pakistan cricket legends Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja were appointed as the official ambassadors of Pakistan Super League.

Teams

There will be 5 teams taking participation in the 1st season of PSL. Each team will consist of 16 players in which 5 overseas players are must.

2. Karachi Kings

3. Peshawar Zalmi

4. Lahore Qalandars

5. Quetta Gladiators

Fixtures

PCB has released the official fixtures and schedule of tournament. HBL PSL 2016 schedules to begin with opening game between Quetta and Islamabad. Final match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on 23 February. Have a look at the full schedule and fixtures of PSLT20.

Broadcasters

The broadcasting rights for PSL 2016 have been awarded to PTV Sports and TEN Sports. Sunset+Vine is announced as the official broadcasting partner for Pakistan Super League.
