The knockout stage of fourth big bash league has been arrived and its first semifinal match is going to be held on 24 January at the Adelaide Oval. The semi-final match is scheduled to play between Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers and it will start at 18:40 local time. Johan Botha to lead Adelaide Strikers whereas Nic Maddinson is the captain of Sydney Sixers.

In previous meet Adelaide Strikers beat Sydney 6ers by 23 runs, match played at SCG on 14 January. Off-course ADS are the favorite to win this semifinal as they were at the top in the points table of bbl 04 and they lost only one game in the tournament so far with one match was abandoned due to rain.

Sydney Sixers have also got chance to qualify for the final of Big bash league for the second time as they played first season’s final too and won the tournament as well. They can win because 6ers defeated Thunders in previous match at the end of game. They scored 56 runs in last 18 overs to get dramatic victory in the match.
