Bangladesh eyeing to upset Australia in 2015 world cup

After big win against Afghanistan in the first match of world cup, Bangladesh cricket team is looking forward for the next game of tournament against hosts Australia. Bangladesh is dreaming to beat Australia and make the biggest upset of 2015 world cup. BAN wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim told to reporters that Australia are the best team and we’ll try our best to win against them.

Bangladesh beat Australia few years back in 2005 when Australian side was on peak and were champions in world cricket. That time players like Gilchrist, Ponting and Symonds were in the Australia team. Bangladesh registered 5 wickets victory over Aus.

Rahim also believes that in 50 overs match anybody can win if the team performs well.

He told reporters Ireland defeated West Indies in the ICC world cup and we could also beat Australia. He said, “In the one day game anyone can win on the day. Ireland beat the West Indies even with a big chase and they did it with 40 balls remaining, so anyone can win in this game.”

After trashing Afghanistan in Bangladesh’s first match, Mushfiqur Rahim told to reporters that we are not favorites for 21st February game against Australia but we can win it if play on our potential.

He said, “Obviously, going into the weekend’s match everyone is expecting Australia will win easily, so hopefully we have something to say about that and all the boys are really geared up for that match.
