Bangladesh vs Pakistan 2nd Test Preview, Predictions at Dhaka

Pakistan would have never thought that in the last match of Bangladesh tour, they would play it for their pride. They reached to Bangladesh with an unbeaten record against the home team but they lost bilateral 3 ODI match series by 3-0. Bangladesh also lost only Twenty20 game. So they were completely failed in the short format of the game with a young Pakistani side.

Pakistan had great hopes from experienced Younis Khan and Captain Misbah-Ul Haq in the test matches but in the first match both these players didn’t do much as expected. In fact Pakistan got only one chance to bat on as Bangladeshi batsmen played some great cricket throughout the match at Khulna which visitors never expected.

The first test match ended at draw but if you look at the scorecard you’ll find that Bangladesh won that match. Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes had brilliant record breaking partnership for Bangladesh in the cricket history and both players added 312 runs for the first wicket partnership.

Though Taijul Islam took 6 wickets in Pakistan innings but in that first inning PAK team managed to score 628 runs before getting all out. So it will be interesting to see how things go when second test starts from tomorrow.

Rahat Ali is not fully fit and Bilawal Bhatti has been called as cover of him. But it is expected that Pakistan won’t make changes in their playing XI for 2nd test. Bangladesh can make change in their playing line up from the previous test as fast bowler Rubel Hossain is injured and is expected that Shahadat Hossain will play tomorrow’s test.
